Original Indian Ink on board. 

Naomi's new pieces are Indian ink on board rather than on paper. This allows her to use a combination of techniques that are not suitable with paper, such as sgraffito.

The ink is built up in various washes or layers and worked back in to many times. The end results are studies looser in style and less figurative but with a greater sense of texture and depth.

The piece is beautifully elevated in a hand painted white frame, using the float frame mount technique.
