A study on block weaves, this Cross Fleck Shawl features a solid Hebridean Dark background with soft colour cross flecks in pink, sky blue, peach and pastel green. These coloured yarns are dyed with madder, woad, rhubarb root and woad over daffodil. The shawl is woven in 3/1 twill in alternating blocks of 24 threads.
