The painting captures the rhythmic dance of the sea loch, where the ebb and flow reveal a rocky foreshore entangled with vibrant seaweed. Echoing this natural tide’s rhythm, the canvas unveils dark rocks, some smothered with rich colours, while distant hill profiles are gently veiled by mist—a subtle play of seen and hidden, echoing the perpetual movement of the tides.
