A sculptural love seat made from remnants of the old Craignure pier with a razorbill at its center.
Carved by Matthew Reade in his workshop at Calgary, Isle of Mull, just across the road from the Gallery. This one-off sculpture is made from the remnants of the old Craignure pier, with a razorbill at its center. Matthew's carvings are shaped with a chainsaw and chisels and finished through burning and layers of colour. This sculptural bench forms the centerpiece of LUNGA, a group exhibition inspired by the natural forms and traces of human presence found on this special Treshnish island.
